Cellular barcode scanners |

 |
A mobile scanner in two basic configurations.
Either attaches directly to the cellphone (like the Ericsson cellular barcode scanner), or the Motorola cellular barcode scanner
OR connects to the cellphone using a cable.
(See another Motorola scanner on Motorola i90, or the Nokia barcode scanner for model 6310i).
The cable barcode scanners can store up to 400 scans, and transmit them to the carrying device (cellphone, PDA, PC) on request.
The attached scanners, operate directly on the cellphone's battery, and transmit the scanned data to the memory and the display of the cellphone.
This unique solution makes most cellular phones TRUE hand held wireless terminals, costing up to half the price of standard handheld terminals solutions.
